Does the myPOS Ultra work offline?
Yes, the myPOS Ultra can process card payments even without an internet connection by operating in POS offline mode. Transactions made offline are securely stored on the device and are synchronised automatically or manually once the connection is restored. Merchants receive notifications indicating whether transactions have been successfully processed or are still pending, ensuring smooth business operations even without continuous connectivity.
However, using Offline Mode involves certain risks, as merchants are fully responsible for any transactions made while offline. Once the terminal reconnects, some payments may be declined due to:
Insufficient funds
Issuer-imposed card restrictions
Exceeded transaction limits
Declines from the card network
Blocked or expired cards
Other related issues
How quickly can I see every payment in my IBAN after a purchase?
Immediately — it’s an instant payment, and the processing is completed within just a few seconds.
Can I assign payments from the POS terminal to my bank account?
You do not need to have a traditional bank account to use myPOS. All payments are instantly credited to your personal multi-currency myPOS merchant account. You can then transfer the funds to any bank account of your choice or conveniently manage company expenses using the provided myPOS Mastercard business card.
How long does the delivery take after ordering a device?
Your new myPOS device will be dispatched from our local store and delivered within three business days.
Can I install my own applications on the smart payment terminal?
Our smart POS devices provide access to the AppMarket, allowing you to browse, choose, and install applications that best suit your business needs.
If an application you require is not available in the AppMarket, you can request a custom installation by submitting a prior request for approval.
What happens if the device gets lost or stolen? Is anybody able to do any harm to my business with it?
If your payment terminal is lost or stolen, please notify us immediately. The main risk is that someone could process a limited number of transactions, which may later need to be refunded (charged back). In such cases, your business would only be responsible for covering the transaction fees associated with those transactions.
How can I accept payments from customers with mobile phones?
This portable POS terminal operates using NFC (Near Field Communication) technology to process payments. It accepts all compatible cards and devices, including smartphones with digital wallets. To make a payment, simply hold the e-wallet device close to the POS terminal.
Is the device shock-proofed?
